Naming Ceremonies
I create inclusive, meaningful naming ceremonies for every occasion — welcoming a new baby, celebrating an adopted child, marking a chosen name for an adult, or honouring a new family member at any age. Each ceremony is crafted to reflect your values, culture, and the people who matter most.
What I offer
Personalised ceremonies written with your stories, symbols, and rituals.
Flexible formats from short, intimate gatherings to larger celebrations with readings, music, and symbolic acts.
Warm, calm delivery that helps guests feel connected and the person being named feel truly seen.
Who it’s for
Families, friends, and communities who want a thoughtful way to name and welcome someone — whether a newborn, an adopted child, a person choosing a new name, or anyone joining your family circle.
How a ceremony might flow
A gentle welcome; a short story or reflection about the name; readings or blessings chosen by you; a symbolic act (lighting a candle, planting a tree, tying a ribbon – the options are endless); the naming declaration; and a moment to share hopes and wishes, promises or commitments from parents, guardians, or loved ones. I guide the structure so it feels natural and memorable.
Inclusive practice
I work with all faiths, none, and with blended traditions. I listen first, then design language and rituals that honour your family or community identity and culture
