Wedding & Vow Renewals
Introduction
I create wedding and vow renewal ceremonies that are personal, authentic, and true to you and don’t fit or conform to a standard framework. From our first conversation to the moment you walk back down the aisle, I work with you to shape words, rituals, and timing so the ceremony reflects your love story, values, dreams and the tone you want — whether that’s joyful and playful, quietly intimate, or warmly traditional.
Listening
I begin by listening. We’ll have a relaxed conversation in person, or virtually where I invite you to tell me about your relationship, the moments that matter, what’s important to you and your dreams for your day. I listen for the details that bring your story to life: favourite memories, family dynamics, cultural elements, and any practical needs.
Co-creating your ceremony
I draft a unique ceremony based on our conversations, then we continue to shape it together. This includes:
- Structure — a clear flow so guests know what to expect.
- Language — vows, readings, and introductions written in a way that resonates with you
- Rituals — symbolic acts or cultural elements chosen with intention.
I welcome input from family members or friends and help weave their contributions into the service if this is what you’d like.
Writing and rehearsal
I can create or find bespoke vows, or short readings on your behalf, using the words and memories you’ve shared. I prepare a polished script and offer a rehearsal so anyone speaking feels confident and supported. My aim is simple: make the words easy to say and full of meaning to you.
As an independent Celebrant I’m not tied to any set format, structure or timings, I work with you to co-produce your unique magical day.
On the day I arrive early, coordinate with the venue and suppliers, and manage the running order of the ceremony so you don’t have to. I guide the ceremony with calm presence, adapt if plans change, and ensure timing and cues are clear for everyone. My role is to hold the moment so you can be fully present with those most important to you and so you relax and enjoy your very special day and get to create magical memories.

2026 From £750 and vow renewals from £350
Travel beyond 30 miles of RG40 charged at 45p per mile
